ABSTRACT WRITING RULES
The language of the abstracts should be Turkish and English,
and the abstracts should be a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 400 words, in accordance with
the 'abstract form'.
The authors' name, surname, institutional information and
ORCID number should be written clearly.
The title of the paper should be written in capital letters,
Times New Roman font style in 14 font size and bold.
Abstracts of the papers and posters should be in 12 font
size, and all sections of the papers and posters should be written in Times New Roman font
style.
Keywords should be Turkish and English, in 11 font size and
bold, and should be at least 3 and at most 7.
Posters should be 70x90 cm. in size, and they should include
abstract, introduction, aim, scope, method, findings, conclusion and bibliography (maximum 5
references) sections. In addition, under the title of the paper, the name, surname,
institutional information and ORCID numbers of the author / authors - in order - should be
indicated. The poster text should be arranged so that it can be easily read from a distance
of 1-2 meters.
Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to
familycongress@kku.edu.tr.
Papers and posters will be evaluated through a double-blinded
referee system.
After the referee evaluation process, the participants whose
papers and posters are accepted will present as oral and poster presentations.
Book of Abstracts which includes accepted papers and posters
will be sent to the participants in “PDF” format.
Each participant who will participate in the congress should
take the poster printed. They will make their presentations on the boards reserved for them
in the Poster presentation area during the Congress. Poster owners are required to be ready
to present their posters to the participants during the “Poster Session” specified in the
Congress Program.
Full papers and similarity report should be sent to
familycongress@kku.edu.tr until November 30, 2025. The similarity report will be taken for
each paper. It is expected that the similarity rate in the papers will be low (maximum 20%).
FULL PAPER WRITING RULES
Book chapters (manuscript) should be written in 16 cm x 24 cm page size having 2 cm margins from top, bottom, right, and left.
Each chapter, including references and tables, should be at least 10 pages, maximum 20 pages and should not exceed 6000 words.
The authors' name, surname, institutional information and ORCID number should be written clearly.
The manuscript should be written in Times New Roman font style with 11 font size, and line spacing should be 1.5. The text should be right and left aligned.
The title of the chapter should be in all capital letters, 14 font size, bold and centered on the page. Subheadings within the chapter should be capitalized and written in 12 font size and bold.
Chapters should not include an abstract and should start with Introduction.
Paragraph indent should be 0.75 cm.
APA 7 will be used for references. References and citations should be in the text. Intext citations should be as follows: (Çakmak, 2024) for studies with a single author, (Çakmak and Şahin, 2024) for studies with two authors, and (Çakmak et al., 2024) for studies with more than one author.
Pictures, graphs and drawings in the chapters should be named as “Figure” and numbered starting from 1. Title of the figures should be written under the figure and in 11 font size.
Tables in the chapters should be named as “Table” and numbered starting from 1. The title of the tables should be written in 11 font size above the table.
References should be in alphabetical order.
A similarity report will be obtained for each chapter. It is expected that the similarity rate in of the chapter will be low (maximum 20%).
In the book of proceedings, chapter titles will be arranged by the editorial team based on the full papers.
